Boomin Reunion Band Started in 1987 in Baton Rouge

 In 1987, the Boomin Reunion Band got together with Chuck Jackson, Robert Parker, Jean Knight, Franie Ford, and Ernie K Doe ro create the first televised effort for the band. It was at the Civic Center in Baton Rouge where it all started. 

Jean Knight sang her hit Mr. Big Stuff, along with local hi Don't Mess With My Too Toot

Frankie Ford sang his iconic hit Sea Cruise as well as You Talk Too Much.

Ernie K Doe reprised Mother In Law as only he could do.

Robert Parker sang his pop anthem, Barefootin'

Chuck Jackson flew down from New York to sing his greatest hits I Don't Want to Cry and Any Day Now, along with Stand By Me.
